Martin Waldseemüller’s 1507 Globe: A Digital 3D Model
Using a digital facsimile of Waldseemüller’s globe gores from the James Ford Bell Library, we created a 3D digital facsimile of the original globe by texture mapping a sphere. To interact with the 3D Globe, download the PDF file and open in Adobe Acrobat outside of your web browser. You must enable the 3D features to click and drag the globe.
